At a glance
- A fixed price for a website only covers what is written in the quote: number of pages, design, copy, technical basics and rounds of revisions.
- My three packages cost €1,900, €4,500 and €8,900.
- This post explains what they include, what they leave out and which questions to ask before you hire anyone.
What belongs in a fixed-price website quote?
If you are comparing fixed-price offers for a new website, you need six things in writing:
- Pages and structure: how many pages does the price include?
- Copy: who writes it?
- Images and photos: who supplies them?
- Technology: mobile layout, contact form, SSL, domain connection, legal notice and privacy policy.
- Search engine basics: a title and description for every page, plus a sitemap.
- Rounds of revisions: how many are included?
On 1 October 2026 I analysed the top ten German search results for "website festpreis" (fixed-price website). Eight of the ten pages mention copy and images side by side, just as many say "complete", and seven each use the words "included" and "three". The providers that rank highest answer exactly these questions.
What is included in my three packages?
| Start | Growth | Studio | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | €1,900 | €4,500 | €8,900 |
| Scope | one-page website | up to 6 pages | up to 12 pages |
| Edit it yourself (CMS) | no | yes, with a walkthrough video | yes |
| Rounds of revisions | 2 | 3 | unlimited during the build |
| Also included | check of your Google Business Profile, data for local search | an industry landing page, Search Console and Analytics, a blog framework | shoot at the VOXE studio, 10 edited photos, online booking, 3 articles, 90-day review |
No VAT is charged under §19 UStG (small business exemption). All three packages include a design based on your brand, a mobile layout, a contact form with spam protection, legal notice and privacy policy, SSL, domain connection and the basic setup for search engines.
What technology is in the packages?
"Technology" in a quote covers work you do not see, but you notice when it is missing:
- Start: anchor navigation on a single scrolling page, link previews with image and headline when the page is shared, a check that title and description really sit in the page head, Core Web Vitals measured after launch, screenshots at every screen size before going live.
- Growth: its own title, description and preview image for every page, headings phrased as questions with the answer in the first two sentences, internal links between the pages, Search Console and Analytics connected.
- Studio: a load time target (LCP under 2.5 seconds on 4G, tested on a throttled connection), an accessibility check of contrast, keyboard use and alt text, and structured data for services and articles.
Who provides the copy and images?
In the Start package I write the copy for every section, and you approve it. In the Growth package the same applies to up to six pages. Photo and video production is only part of the Studio package: a half-day shoot at the VOXE studio with a brand film and three short vertical clips, plus 10 edited photos of your team, premises and work.
Ask every provider how they split this. It decides whether the fixed price really is the final price.
What is not included in the fixed price?
- Start: blog, CMS, more than one page, photo and video production, booking system.
- Growth: copy for more than six pages, photo and video production, online shop, booking system, multilingual pages.
- Studio: online shop, multilingual pages, ongoing content creation, ad campaigns.
- All packages: running the site. Hosting, SSL, domain, backups and updates are part of website care from €79 per month. What that covers is explained in Website maintenance: what it includes and what it costs.
What do websites cost on the market?
According to my market research (prices as of 27 September 2026), one-page websites cost between €1,000 and €7,000, websites with five to eight pages between €3,000 and €12,000, and Webflow agencies charge between €10,000 and €18,000 for eight to twelve pages with a CMS. Not every provider says whether the price includes VAT, so only compare prices stated on the same basis.
Fixed price or time-and-materials billing?
With a fixed price you know the total up front; with time-and-materials billing you pay for the hours actually worked. A fixed price suits a project with a clear scope. If the scope changes, I tell you the extra cost before I carry on.
